How much can a RAM tow and carry?

RAM 1500

The RAM 1500 Big Horn with the 5.7L HEMI V8 is rated to tow up to 4,500 kg braked with the genuine tow bar and 70 mm tow ball, and carries up to 878 kg of payload with the 6'4" tub. The 1500 Express Black Edition Hurricane has up to 1,014 kg of payload.

RAM 2500 and 3500 Laramie High Output

The 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel makes 313 kW and 1,458 Nm. These trucks are rated to tow 4,500 kg with a 70 mm tow ball, or up to 8,000 kg with the genuine gooseneck hitch and 3" ball. The 3500 carries up to 1,652 kg of payload.
