RAM Trucks Australia sells three sizes of pickup: the RAM 1500, the heavy-duty 2500 and the 3500. Here is a simple guide to help you choose.

RAM 1500

The most popular choice for everyday driving and weekend towing. Choose the Big Horn with the 5.7L HEMI V8 eTorque, or the Express Black Edition, Rebel, Laramie Sport, Laramie Night and Limited with the 3.0L twin-turbo Hurricane six. The Limited Hurricane High Output makes 403 kW.

RAM 2500

For heavier towing. The 2500 Warlock uses the 6.4L HEMI V8 petrol engine, and the 2500 Laramie High Output uses the 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel with 1,458 Nm.

RAM 3500

The most capable RAM, with the 6.7L Cummins High Output diesel and up to 1,652 kg of payload. Its GVM is 5,352 kg, so read our RAM 3500 licence guide first.
